OUR SERVICES

Comprehensive Podiatry Care for Every Step

Our services cover the full spectrum of ongoing foot and ankle care — the day-to-day support that keeps you active, plus the specialized care you need when something more complex comes up. All under one roof, at both of our Colorado offices.

From routine foot care to advanced surgical procedures.

WHAT WE OFFER

More than a clinic.
A care partner for the long haul.

There's a difference between a clinic you visit once when something breaks — and a practice that stays with you through all of it. Our services are built around the patients we see most often: active adults who want to stay moving, families managing youth sports injuries, older adults navigating chronic conditions, and anyone in between who just wants their feet to stop hurting.

Every service listed below is offered at both our Wheat Ridge and Boulder offices. If you're not sure which service is the right fit for what you're experiencing, call either location — we'll help you figure it out.

EVERYDAY FOOT CARE

The small stuff, handled well

A lot of what we do every day isn't dramatic.

It's careful, thoughtful routine foot care: ingrown toenails, corns and calluses, athlete's foot, fungal nails, plantar warts. The conditions that aren't emergencies — but that can quietly wreck your week if they're not handled right. We offer in-office procedures for most of these, often during the same visit.

DIABETIC & WOUND CARE

Thoughtful care for complex foot health

Diabetes changes how your feet heal, how they feel, and how quickly a small problem can become a big one.

Our team has deep experience caring for diabetic patients — from routine diabetic foot exams and neuropathy management to advanced wound care using skin grafts and substitutes. Dr. Litherland brings particular expertise in diabetic education and wound care to this work.

SURGICAL CARE

When surgery is the right answer

Our doctors are board-certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.

We handle the full range of surgical care — from high-volume bunion corrections and hammertoe procedures to more complex reconstructive surgery. Every surgical conversation at TMFA starts with the same question: is this really the best option for you right now?

When the answer is yes, we'll walk you through exactly what to expect, what recovery looks like, and when you'll be back on your feet — literally.

SPORTS MEDICINE

Built for the way Coloradans move

Our sports medicine practice is shaped by the people we serve: runners, hikers, skiers, cyclists, trail athletes, youth athletes, and weekend warriors who refuse to slow down.

We understand that "just rest it" isn't a realistic answer when your whole identity is tied to staying active. We work with you to build treatment plans that protect the long-term health of your feet and ankles without sidelining you unnecessarily.

CUSTOM ORTHOTICS

Support that's actually built for your feet

Over-the-counter insoles help some people some of the time. But if you've got a structural issue, chronic pain, or an unusual gait pattern, a generic insert often just masks the problem.

Our custom orthotics are designed specifically for your feet, your biomechanics, and the activities you do most. For many patients, custom orthotics are the missing piece in a long-running pain story.

GERIATRIC CARE

Keeping older adults on their feet

Aging changes the feet in a lot of ways — skin gets more fragile, circulation changes, arthritis sets in, balance becomes more important than ever.

Our geriatric foot care services are tailored to the specific needs of older adults, with an emphasis on fall prevention, mobility, and comfort. We take extra time with older patients, and we're happy to coordinate with family members or caregivers when that's helpful.

OUR APPROACH

Team-based, evidence-based, and built around you.

Our physicians work as a team, and we regularly collaborate with other specialists — primary care, vascular, rheumatology, endocrinology, infectious disease — when your care calls for it. That's especially important in wound care, diabetic care, and complex surgical cases, where the best outcomes come from multiple sets of expert eyes working together.

In-office, we use digital X-rays and two therapeutic lasers to diagnose and treat without sending you across town. Most of what you need, we can do right here — in one visit, in one place.
