About Dr. Ojerinde

Dr. Salimot Ojerinde joins Table Mountain Foot & Ankle after completing her residency training in podiatric medicine and surgery, with a focus on reconstructive rearfoot and ankle care. She is dedicated to patient-centered treatment and believes in walking patients through their options so they feel confident in their care plan.

Dr. Ojerinde earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in 2023, following a Master of Biomedical Sciences from Geisinger College of Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Indiana University Bloomington.

She completed her residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, with additional training in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery (PMSR/RRA), at Corewell Health – Trenton (Beaumont Trenton Hospital) in Michigan, where she also served as Chief Resident, supervising junior residents and coordinating surgical case assignments.

Dr. Ojerinde is experienced in both surgical and non-surgical podiatric care, including bunion and hammertoe correction, rearfoot fusions, ankle arthroscopy, trauma cases, diabetic limb salvage, sports injuries, orthotic prescription, and wound care. She speaks English and Yoruba.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Ojerinde has volunteered at annual diabetic foot screenings in Chicago and homeless outreach foot clinics in Trenton, Michigan. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and hiking, she especially loves exploring new places and learning about different cultures.
