Dr. Still has specialized training and expertise in peripheral nerve injuries and pathology. He has advanced training and expertise in tarsal tunnel syndrome, nerve entrapment injuries of the lower leg, ankle and foot. He has training in endoscopic decompression of Morton’s neuroma, nerve grafting for chronic pain of the leg, ankle and foot and other uncommon but complex nerve related problems of the leg , foot and ankle. He also has many years of experience in minimally invasive pediatric flatfoot correction, joint replacement of the great toe joint and total ankle joint replacement.
Dr. Gregory Still was born and raised in Long Beach, CA. and began practice in CO. in 1999. He received his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from The University of San Diego and went on to receive his doctorate in podiatric medicine (D.P.M.) from the Rosalind Franklin University of Health Sciences in Chicago, IL in 1996. Dr. Still completed his residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at Whittier Hospital in Whittier CA in 1999. Dr. Still is board certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by The American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Still has served as chair of the Podiatric Dept. at Lutheran Medical Center and is a Past President of The Colorado Podiatric Medical Association. He has served on several committees for the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) and was President of Division 4 from 2011-2015. He currently serves on two ACFAS committees. He has published six articles in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery. In 2020 Dr. Still was awarded with the Distinguished Service Award by The American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Still is an attending physician with the Northern Colorado Podiatric Medical Residency program and has done so since 1999. He also has participated in many medical missions to San Miguel de Allende, MX volunteering his surgical skills to help those in need. He also volunteered his time at Denver Inner City Health Clinic providing care once a month from 2008-2016. Dr. Still is married and has two boys. In his free time he is passionate about fly fishing and also enjoys snowboarding, softball, mountaineering and surfing.
Dr. Still has a special interest in peripheral nerve surgery and treating complex peripheral nerve problems of the foot and ankle. In 2019 he completed very specialized microsurgery training (using a microscope in surgery) for peripheral nerve surgery at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He also has obtained training from nationally known peripheral nerve surgeon Edgardo Rodrigues Collazo in Chicago, IL. Dr. Still also has certification and training in a minimally invasive flatfoot correction procedure (www.Atlasfai.com, www.hyprocure.com). This is a procedure that can be utilized for children and adults. Dr. Still has been performing flatfoot correction with this procedure for nearly 20 years.
